Park conveniently at The Wishing Well as you travel via Private Motor Coach to explore DC’s National Mall at the perhaps most beautiful time of the year – spring time - thanks to Mother Nature and the seemingly endless cherry blossoms that blanket the city in pink. Your guide will take the group around the Tidal Basin and the National Mall which is the focal point of the National Cherry Blossoms Festival. a spring celebration in DC that commemorates the gift of Japanese cherry trees from the mayor of Japan in 1912 to DC. The tour will also explore some monuments such as Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR, Martin Luther King, Vietnam and WWII. Visit the White House and the Capitol building if time allows.
Early Dinner at Carmines - 4:30PM
Southern Italian cuisine is served family-style at this sprawling 1930s-style dining hall. Carmine's is a favorite DC restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family.
